Some 25 years ago, foam trowels were among the most sought-after building tools. Light and durable, they replaced the heavy wooden plastering floats almost instantaneously and to this day remain a synonym of plastering. This is just one of Marbet's many products that testify to the creative thinking of the company's workers and owners. These products have often made breakthroughs in various areas. Examples include insulated bee hives and a range of other bee-keeping equipment, rehabilitation shoes that are referred to as fakir's sandals, textiles for the shoe industry, surfboard inserts, road and railway signs and heater screens. Warm, quiet, durable
Among our many fields of activity and development, the construction industry has always played a special role. This market has been conquered by our Green Panels (special-purpose heat-insulation panels: Izofas, Styrohart and Izodren), a complete system with a wide use ranging from the standard thermal insulation of outside walls, through special panels with reduced water absorption to unique acoustic insulation. These products have been used in many prestigious constructions in Poland, such as the "Silesia Center" shopping mall, Aquapark in Zakopane or the swimming pool complex in our home-town of Bielsko-Biała.
Comfortable, safe, beautiful
For more than ten years, the Company has been present on international markets due to cooperation with a Swedish furniture corporation, for whom Marbet manufactures the popular "banana" rocking chairs and a range of upholstered furniture. However, MARBET does not only focus on fun and comfort. It also stands for safety. In this field, it has become a well-known producer of baby car seats and cycling helmets. MARBET's concern for safety extends to the sphere of product packing. For many years, the company has been a supplier of customized foamed-polystyrene packagings. As they absorb shocks and impacts and provide efficient insulation, they guarantee the full protection of goods during transport. Finally, MARBET focuses on home interiors. In this area, it offers skirting boards, finishing-decorative mouldings, ornamental rosettes and ceiling tiles. These elements add to the beauty of our houses and flats and are produced in an amazing variety of colours and patterns ranging from classical to modern.

Standing firmly on the ground, the Company aims high - as high as several thousand metres. From the very beginning, Marbet has been participating in the construction of the BIELIK, a jet training plane, and the ORKA, a two-engine executive plane. Both planes are manufactured by the MARGAŃSKI & MYSŁOWSKI AVIATION PLANT in Bielsko-Biała. In Gliwice, our MARBET-WIL produces special-purpose materials based on the SULCEM sulphur polymer. This technology has been successfully adopted in the construction industry, road and railway engineering, household goods and telecommunications. The products show high compression and crushing strength as well as good resistance to acids, salts and other aggressive substances. SULBET is used for producing in-line drainage elements, weights for railway tractions, chemical-resistant industrial floors, sewage and telecommunication manholes, as well as foundations for reinforced quays and other marine constructions.
